At first glance, the Burton Hackett Jacket looks and feels like a heavy-duty workwear flannel. Dig deeper and you'll discover some serious cred like burly waterproof/breathability, high-loft, lightweight 3M™ Thinsulate™ Platinum Insulation and a fresh yet functional quilted satin lining. In the arm pits, X-STATIC® antimicrobial insulation provides stink protection. A stealth way to shed extra layers, this single piece consolidates flannel, puff and shell into one. Rider-ready, it contains all the necessary features—fully taped seams, a waist gaiter, and venting to battle everything from arctic temps to springtime slop.
Mens Team Fit

At the team’s request we made these jackets longer than our Sig Fit with two inches added in the body and up to one inch added in the sleeves.
Fully Taped Seams

Every seam in the jacket and pant is taped to create the ultimate foul weather seal.
Taffeta Lining

Taffeta offers a crisp, high-end feel that is often woven using a mix of synthetic fibers. Its unique hand feel and sheen make it ideal for printing, and like all our linings, it wicks and breathes easy to keep you dry from the inside out.
3M Thinsulate™ Insulation

Burton team riders require ultimate mobility and comfort in all conditions. With 3M™, Burton found a progressive solution through a new blend of 3M™ Thinsulate™—an insulation constructed from unique, high-loft microfibers for increased warmth with less bulk. Breathable, water-resistant and durable, it’s proving there’s substance to the cliché: less is more.
Sound/Goggle Pocket

Completely redesigned for easier access and use, the NEW Sound Pocket is conveniently located on the chest inside the Stormflap™. A headphone cable port prevents tangled wires, while the angled, tricot sleeve securely stores audio devices of all shapes and sizes. Featured on all Burton jackets $200 and up.
X-STATIC® Silver Fiber®

By bonding a layer of pure silver to the insulating fibers, X-STATIC® antimicrobial insulation provides added defense to keep outerwear smelling fresh. Strategically placed in the arm pits of select men’s and women’s Burton jackets.
