Now in its second generation, the Float features refined shaping and improved balance, allowing riders to focus fully on surfing the wave while the wing remains stable and neutral when flagged.
Designed with a low sweep angle and forward-oriented profile, the Float positions the centre of effort further forward for intuitive control and efficient sheeting. The refined canopy profile reduces depth in the centre while maintaining structure across the wing span, creating smooth and consistent power distribution with a balanced feel across a wide range of wind conditions.
When riding waves, the Float excels thanks to its outstanding drift stability. The wing remains stable when depowered, allowing riders to carve turns and link sections without the wing pulling them off their line. Its slightly front-handed power delivery and optimised wingtip angles help maintain control while riding downwind or surfing swell.
The Float 2026 features a minimalist boom-only design without windows, reducing overall weight and delivering a direct, responsive connection to the wing.
