Fluid Lines is a family business run by Dave Peek and his three sons and together they have many years of experience. Selling equipment for skiing, snowboarding, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing foiling, SUP and kayaking.
Since 2009, Fluid Lines has been offering a wide selection of quality products for snow and watersports. Due to the years of experience in the industry Fluid Lines staff can offer expert advice to customers on the best products to suit their needs.
We don’t just sell snow and watersport products, we ride them, test them and if they are good enough we sell them to our customers online and in store.
Dave
About Us
Founded by Dave, Fluid Lines is built on a wealth of experience and expertise in the snow and watersports industry. With a passion for skiing that began in the early 1980s, Dave has taught skiing across Europe, earning the prestigious BASI Level 4 certification, as well as the French Equivalence. Over the past 25 years, he has primarily worked in the renowned Portes du Soleil ski area, alongside various other top European resorts.
Drawing from more than 25 years in the industry, Dave uses his extensive knowledge to help customers find the perfect equipment tailored to their specific needs. His commitment to quality and personalised service ensures that every customer gets expert advice and the best possible gear for them.
Sam
Sam has been an integral part of Fluid Lines since its inception, and his passion for skiing has driven him to achieve the BASI Level 4 certification. Recently becoming a BASI examiner. With over fifteen winters of teaching experience in Switzerland and a background as a qualified physiotherapist, he brings a unique blend of skills to both his teaching and customer interactions.
Currently based in Verbier, Switzerland in the winter, Sam remains dedicated to teaching while also pursuing his love for winging, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and surfing. In addition to his work as a ski instructor, Sam manages our website and digital marketing.
Tom
Tom, the youngest son, brings his passion for watersports and skiing to the business. With a BASI Level 4 qualification and status as a BASI examiner, Tom is highly skilled in ski teaching, while also balancing his time between wing-foiling, teaching, and working in the store.
Based in Verbier, Switzerland during the winter months, Tom teaches independently. He has been an avid surfer and windsurfer since a young age and has recently added SUP surfing and wing-foiling to his diverse skill set. Tom’s enthusiasm for the sports and his expertise in both skiing and watersports make him an invaluable member of the Fluid Lines team.
Will
Will divides his time between skiing in Europe during the winter and enjoying the summer months in the UK. Like Dave, Will holds the BASI Level 4 qualification and is a BASI Trainer. He currently works independently as a ski instructor in Verbier, where he continues to share his expertise with others.
An avid water sports enthusiast, Will has been windsurfing, kitesurfing, and surfing since the age of 11, always seeking out new opportunities to spend time on the water. In addition to his work as a ski instructor, Will is responsible for managing the shop’s accounts, ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes!
Judy
With 25 years of experience in the snow and watersports industry, Judy brings a wealth of knowledge to Fluid Lines. Once a professional windsurfer, she has a deep understanding of all the sports we offer, making her an expert resource for advice on everything from skiing to watersports equipment.
A passionate skier, Judy makes time every season to spend 2-3 weeks in Europe, ensuring she stays connected to the slopes and keeps up-to-date with the latest gear. Her extensive experience and enthusiasm for both snow and watersports make her an invaluable part of our team.
James
James is the newest member of the Fluid Lines team, bringing a lifelong passion for skiing and a dedication to the sport. Having skied from a young age, he achieved his BASI Level 2 qualification and has taught in Switzerland for multiple winters. James is committed to skiing and aims to spend 2-3 weeks on the slopes each season.
In addition to his love for skiing, James has been an avid surfer since his youth and has recently started wing foiling. His enthusiasm for both snow and watersports makes him a great fit for the team.
