Duotone Blitz SLS Windsurfing Board 2026 is ahigh-performance freeride and freerace board designed for riders who want maximum speed and acceleration without sacrificing control or comfort. Built using FULL CUSTOM SLS Technology and developed with Duotone’s AI_BOARD_3D design software, the Blitz SLS blends race-inspired performance with forgiving handling across a wide wind range.

Positioned above the Eagle in the freeride lineup, the Blitz SLS is aimed at riders already comfortable using footstraps and looking to push their speed, carving, and freerace performance further. Duotone describes the concept as “maximum performance with minimum effort,” combining early planing efficiency with strong top-end control and easy jibing characteristics.

The board uses a wider, more parallel outline together with boxier rails and race-derived bottom shaping to generate lift, acceleration, and stability at speed. A recessed mast track lowers the rig connection point for improved aerodynamics and control, while the 2-step cut-outs reduce drag and wetted surface for greater top speed and smoother ride characteristics in chop.

Unlike pure slalom boards, the Blitz SLS maintains accessible handling and forgiving gybing behavior thanks to its wider tail and balanced volume distribution. The result is a freerace board that suits a broad range of rider levels — from first power jibes through advanced laydown race jibes and long-distance blasting.

Duotone’s FULL CUSTOM SLS construction uses CNC-milled EPS cores and vacuum-bagged sandwich processing to achieve a high strength-to-weight ratio. Compared with the flagship D/LAB versions, SLS boards use S-Glass+ instead of carbon-Innegra outer layers, making them slightly heavier but more accessible in price while still remaining lighter and stronger than traditional semi-custom freeride constructions.
