Tyrolia Protector+ ATTACK 14 GW Binding – Black – 95mm

Tyrolia Protector+ ATTACK 14 GW Binding is a high-performance freeski binding designed for expert skiers who demand strong retention, stability and precision across the entire mountain. Combining the proven Attack platform with HEAD’s innovative Full Heel Release (FHR) technology, it delivers a powerful blend of downhill performance and enhanced protection.

The updated PROTECTOR+ ATTACK 14 GW features a lower stand height and higher DIN settings, giving experienced skiers a more direct connection to their skis while providing the retention required for aggressive skiing. Its versatile construction is designed to handle everything from groomed pistes and powder to park and pipe.

• PROTECTOR Full Heel Release – Innovative heel technology designed to release laterally in certain backward-twisting falls, helping reduce knee loading.
• Reduced ACL strain – HEAD states that the Protector heel can reduce ACL strain by more than 50%, based on finite element model simulations from the University of Innsbruck.
• Lower stand height – The updated PROTECTOR+ ATTACK design brings the skier closer to the ski for improved precision and control.
• Higher DIN settings – Built for expert skiers requiring strong retention and stability during aggressive, high-speed skiing.
• Attack toe – Provides strong downhill performance and reliable boot retention across demanding terrain.
• High durability – Designed for use across piste, park, pipe and powder.
• All-mountain versatility – Suitable for a wide range of freeskiing conditions and terrain.
• GripWalk compatible – Compatible with adult Alpine boots meeting ISO 5355 Type A and adult Walk boots meeting ISO 23223 Type A.
• No sole-height adjustment required – The binding is designed for the compatible GripWalk A boot standards.
• Multiple brake widths – Available with 95 mm, 110 mm and 120 mm brakes.
• Multiple colour options – Available in matt black, sand, pink and matt white.

The binding is classified by HEAD as Freestyle and Expert, with the Attack platform designed for high-performance skiing across powder, groomed runs, park and other demanding terrain.

PROTECTOR Full Heel Release Technology

The key feature of the PROTECTOR+ ATTACK 14 GW is its Full Heel Release technology. Unlike a conventional alpine binding heel, the Protector heel is designed to release laterally in situations where the skier experiences a backward twisting fall. HEAD states that this technology can significantly reduce the risk of knee and lower-leg injuries, with its cited University of Innsbruck simulation showing a potential reduction in ACL strain of more than 50%.

Who Is It For?

The PROTECTOR+ ATTACK 14 GW is aimed at expert and high-performance skiers who want the aggressive skiing characteristics of an Attack binding combined with the additional protection offered by the Protector heel.

It is particularly suited to skiers who regularly move between piste, freeride terrain, powder and freestyle skiing, and who want a robust binding capable of handling demanding conditions.

Ideal for: expert skiers, freeride, freestyle, park, powder, all-mountain skiing and high-speed skiing.
