The Duotone Blur D/LAB Kite Surfboard 2027 is the high-performance all-round wave board in the Duotone range, designed to deliver speed, control and smooth flow across a wide variety of conditions. Developed by Sky Solbach and chosen by big-wave rider James Carew, the Blur D/LAB combines a refined, versatile shape with premium D/LAB construction to provide confident performance from medium surf through to powerful overhead waves.

The Blur is designed around a carefully balanced rocker line that delivers fast, efficient acceleration while maintaining excellent directional stability. This gives the board an energetic yet predictable feel as you drive down the line, allowing you to generate speed quickly without sacrificing control when the conditions become more powerful.

A refined round tail provides a combination of grip and forward drive, allowing smooth rail-to-rail transitions and controlled, powerful turns. The shape gives the Blur excellent versatility across changing wave conditions, making it equally capable of generating speed in medium surf and holding a precise line when the waves become larger and more demanding.

The premium D/LAB Carbon construction keeps weight to a minimum while maximising responsiveness and sensitivity. Advanced carbon construction gives the board an immediate, connected feel underfoot, while reinforced Innegra in critical areas, particularly around the rails, increases ding resistance and reduces vibration. The result is a lightweight board that remains smooth and composed when the water gets rough.

For additional comfort, the RMF 3.0 Shock Absorber combines Reflex Memory Foam with Innegra Shield technology to reduce high-frequency vibration and cushion impacts. This creates a smoother, more forgiving ride while retaining the sharp response and sensitivity expected from a D/LAB board.
