Patagonia Nano Air Light Men’s Vest is a lightweight, highly breathable insulation layer designed for active days in the mountains. Combining stretch, warmth and excellent breathability, it is ideal for ski touring, winter hiking and other high-output activities where temperatures can change quickly and you need insulation that can be worn throughout the activity.
The vest uses a 100% recycled polyester stretch ripstop shell and lining, providing a combination of durability, flexibility and air permeability. A durable water-repellent (DWR) finish, made without intentionally added PFAS, helps shed light moisture and snow.
At its core is 40-g FullRange™ insulation, a stretchy and highly air-permeable synthetic insulation designed to release excess heat during periods of intense activity while retaining warmth when you slow down. This makes the Nano-Air Light particularly effective as an active midlayer where traditional insulated garments can feel restrictive or overheated.
The vest’s sleeveless construction provides unrestricted movement around the arms and shoulders, while low-profile quilting keeps the overall design streamlined and easy to layer underneath a shell. Two zipped handwarmer pockets and a zipped chest pocket provide secure storage, with the entire vest able to self-stuff into the chest pocket for easy packing.
