The Nidecker Tape Deck Men’s Snowboard 2027 is built for riders who want to bring classic freestyle style into the modern era, it takes inspiration from the golden age of 90s snowboarding and combines a true-twin shape, traditional camber and modern construction for a playful yet powerful ride.
Designed primarily for park and freestyle riding, the Tape Deck is equally capable around the resort and in softer snow. Its true-twin shape and steep kick at both the nose and tail reduce swing weight, making the board easy to spin, press, butter and manoeuvre through technical freestyle terrain.
The traditional camber profile provides excellent edge contact and reliable control while loading the board with energy for explosive ollies. Whether you’re approaching a jump, hitting a rail or carving between features, the camber delivers the responsive, spring-loaded feel expected from a dedicated freestyle board.
Underneath, Nidecker’s Premium Sandwich construction combines a lightweight core with carbon reinforcement for increased pop, faster edge response and improved vibration absorption. Pop Carbon is positioned between the inserts and towards the nose and tail, boosting ollie power while helping to dampen chatter when landing or riding at speed.
The Light Core uses a combination of poplar and paulownia for a lightweight, lively feel, with central beech stringers adding strength and further enhancing pop. A Biax Plus fiberglass laminate provides responsive power transfer while keeping the board agile and playful.
For speed and durability, the Tape Deck uses an N-7000 Hybrid base, sitting between a traditional extruded and sintered construction. Its high-density material provides good wax absorption and a fast glide without requiring the same level of maintenance as a fully sintered base.
