Zonal BOA® Fit System

The standout feature of the Recon 110 is K2’s Zonal BOA® Fit System, which uses separate adjustment zones across the shell and cuff. This allows the skier to fine-tune the fit rather than relying on a single closure point.

The shell BOA system uses a micro-adjustable dial, strong laces and low-friction guides to create a precise wrap around the foot. The cuff BOA uses a single cable that self-equalises tension around the shin, helping deliver consistent pressure and a secure connection between the skier and boot.

Fit & Customisation

K2’s Mid Volume MultiFit Last is designed to accommodate a range of foot shapes, with a stated width range of approximately 97–100 mm. This makes the Recon 110 Zonal BOA a useful option for skiers who want the precision of a performance boot without being restricted to an especially narrow fit.

Both the shell and cuff are fully heat-moldable, allowing a qualified boot fitter to customise the boot around the skier’s individual foot and lower leg. The adjustable forward lean also provides another way to fine-tune the stance and feel of the boot.

The FastFit Instep uses softer TPU around the instep to make getting into and out of the boots easier. GripWalk ISO 23223 soles add improved traction and comfort when walking or standing in ski boots, while remaining compatible with GripWalk binding systems.
