Duotone has just dropped its 2026 collection, and the theme across the board is refinement. They have focussed on lighter materials, more stable profiles, and smarter shapes for smoother handling on the water.
The Wings
Duotone Unit 2026
The Unit has always been Duotone’s most versatile wing, and the 2026 model steps things up with profile tweaks that reduce depth in the center and shift more power into the quarter-span. That translates into a wing that feels crisper, more responsive, and easier to sheet in and out. The MOD3 S canopy adds stability, while the wider, stiffer leading-edge handle improves control. Riders will also notice better drift and wave steering, making the Unit more dependable across conditions.

Duotone Unit SLS 2026
The SLS version is built on the same design tweaks but pushes performance further thanks to Aluula Gold L1 panels and a narrower diameter leading edge. The result is a wing that’s noticeably lighter and stiffer, with more direct power transfer. It balances power and de-power more evenly across different wind angles, and it’s especially appealing for riders who want high performance without committing to the full premium D/LAB price point. It is also still available in sustainable “Concept Blue” colourways.

Duotone Unit D/LAB 2026
At the very top of the range sits the Unit D/LAB, and the 2026 edition is as premium as it gets. It uses full Aluula Gold construction in both the leading edge and strut, giving it an incredibly light feel with minimal drag. Duotone has reduced the leading-edge diameter for even smoother sheeting angles, while maintaining that same enhanced drift and wave control found in the rest of the family. If you’re chasing light-wind sessions, downwind runs, or precision surf performance, this is the flagship wing. We often recommend that if your budget allows, you invest in a D/LAB Unit for your most-used size—say, a 5.0m. Then you can round out your quiver with a larger and smaller wing in the Unit SLS or the standard Unit.

The Boards
Duotone Sky Style 2026
The Sky Style returns as a reliable freestyle and wave-oriented board. For 2026, Duotone has refined the outline with a slightly wider nose, introduced a recessed deck to put your feet closer to the foil, and given it more rocker for tighter turns. Rounded rail apexes make touchdowns and landings much more forgiving, and the vacuum epoxy with bamboo sandwich construction keeps the board strong yet lively. It’s a solid choice for riders looking for a versatile and durable ride.

Duotone Sky Style SLS 2026
The Sky Style SLS is the high-performance sibling, built with a Biax Carbon PVC Sandwich construction that makes it both lighter and stiffer. The board has a more refined outline with a wider nose and optimized bottom contours for quicker release off the water. A raised deck angle at the front foot increases reactivity, while the rail shape reduces the chance of catching on landings. Multiple strap inserts give riders flexibility for setup. If you want a playful, responsive board that excels in freestyle and waves, this is the one.

Duotone Skybrid SLS 2026
Sitting slightly apart from the Sky Style line is the Skybrid SLS, which merges the efficiency of downwinder boards with the maneuverability of compact wing shapes. Its longer and narrower outline glides efficiently, while the wide nose and tail add stability. Features like cut-outs in the tail for early release, beveled rails, and a single-to-flat concave bottom all help it lift earlier and ride smoother. This board really is a great allrounder, narrow for tight turns and a longer waterline to get you on foil quickly.
