Its slim, low-drag profile is individually optimised for each mast length, combining exceptional stiffness with precise, playful turning. The High Modulus Carbon construction uses optimised fibre orientation to maximise both bending and torsional stiffness, giving the mast a highly responsive feel and excellent control through turns.
The redesigned, drag-optimised base plate significantly reduces resistance when pumping onto foil, taking off, touching down and landing. The tapered chord and thickness are engineered to provide the required strength while keeping drag to a minimum.
DUOTONE has also developed the profile for high resistance to ventilation, particularly on the longer mast sizes, helping maintain smooth and uninterrupted performance at speed.
