Head Faero MIPS Snow Helmet

Head Faero MIPS Snow Helmet is a premium ski and snowboard helmet combining a clean, low-profile design with advanced protection, comfort and ventilation. At the heart of the helmet is the Mips® Integra TX system, which integrates a low-friction layer into the helmet construction to provide an additional level of protection against certain angled impacts.

Designed for all-day use on the mountain, the Faero MIPS combines a slim profile, comfortable ear fit and headphone compatibility with a washable, moisture-wicking lining. Its integrated goggle ventilation system helps improve airflow between the goggles and helmet, reducing fogging and maintaining clear vision in changing conditions.

The Faero MIPS is part of HEAD’s Faero helmet family and is available in multiple colours. HEAD currently lists it as a ski and snowboard helmet, with the UK range including black, white and sand colour options.

Mips® Integra TX

The Mips® Integra TX system combines the traditional comfort padding and impact-absorbing foam with an integrated low-friction layer. The technology is designed to complement the helmet’s conventional protection by allowing controlled movement between layers during certain angled impacts.

Washable Tech Lining

The Washable Tech Lining combines insulation with a breathable, moisture-wicking construction. It can be removed and washed, helping maintain comfort and freshness throughout the ski season.

Goggle Venting System

The integrated Goggle Venting System is designed to improve airflow around the goggle and helmet interface. Better airflow helps reduce condensation and fogging, particularly during active skiing or changing temperatures.

Surround Comfort Design

HEAD’s Surround Comfort Design provides a snug fit around the ears while maintaining the Faero’s slim overall profile. The ear areas are also designed to accommodate headphones, making the helmet suitable for long days on the mountain.

Fit & Comfort

The Faero MIPS is designed to provide a secure, comfortable fit without the bulky appearance of traditional ski helmets. Its low-profile construction, comfortable ear coverage and adaptable fit make it suitable for skiers and snowboarders who want a helmet that looks streamlined while remaining practical for all-day mountain use.

The optional Asian Fit Optimisation patches can be used to adapt the internal fit for rounder head shapes, providing additional flexibility when finding the right fit.

Who Is It For?

The HEAD Faero MIPS is ideal for skiers and snowboarders looking for a premium, low-profile helmet with MIPS protection, strong ventilation and all-day comfort.

It is particularly suited to riders who want advanced protection technology without compromising on aesthetics, fit or functionality.
