K2 Mindbender 90C Men’s Skis + Binding 2027

The K2 Mindbender 90C Men’s Skis 2027 are lightweight, lively all-mountain skis designed for skiers who want an easy-to-handle platform that can confidently move between groomed pistes, bumps, trees and lighter off-piste terrain. With a 90 mm waist, All-Terrain Rocker profile and responsive Aspen Micro Block core, the Mindbender 90 is designed to feel energetic and manoeuvrable without the added weight and stiffness of a metal-laminate construction.

K2 combines the lightweight core with Spectral Braid™ construction, allowing the torsional flex and longitudinal feel to be tuned along the length of the ski. The result is a versatile ski that remains playful and approachable while providing enough stability and edge control for progressing skiers to explore more of the mountain.

Aspen Micro Block Core

At the heart of the Mindbender 90 is K2’s Aspen Micro Block core. Multiple interlocking Aspen stringers are laminated together to create a consistent flex pattern while making efficient use of the wood.

This construction keeps the ski relatively light while retaining the energy, strength and durability expected from a full wood-based ski. The result is a responsive platform that feels lively underfoot without becoming overly demanding.

Spectral Braid™ Construction

The Spectral Braid™ is K2’s variable-angle reinforcement technology. By changing the orientation of the fibres along the length of the ski, K2 can tune the torsional stiffness and flex characteristics in different areas.

On the Mindbender 90, this helps balance manoeuvrability with control. The ski can be rolled onto edge and redirected easily, while the construction provides enough torsional support to maintain predictable handling when skiing faster or across variable snow.

All-Terrain Rocker

The All-Terrain Rocker profile combines gradual tip rocker with traditional camber underfoot. The raised tip helps the ski initiate turns and move more easily through softer snow, while the cambered section underfoot provides edge contact and stability on firmer surfaces.

This makes the Mindbender 90 particularly versatile for everyday resort skiing, where conditions can change considerably throughout the day. K2 specifically describes the profile as suited to groomers, crud and light powder.

Performance & Terrain

With its 90 mm waist, the Mindbender 90 occupies a versatile position between a narrower piste-oriented ski and a wider freeride platform. It is quick enough edge-to-edge for groomed snow while providing additional width for bumps, trees and softer snow.

Its lightweight and approachable construction makes it particularly suitable for beginner to intermediate skiers who want a ski that can grow with their ability. It is also a good option for more experienced skiers who prefer a lighter, more playful ski rather than a heavier metal-laminate design.

Binding Options

The Mindbender 90 is available as a flat ski without bindings, giving the skier freedom to select their preferred binding system. K2 also offers an integrated QuikClik option that pairs with compatible Marker bindings.

K2 does not mount bindings before shipment because bindings need to be selected, mounted and adjusted according to the individual skier and their equipment.
